Surface Water 

Fresh water you can see as overland flow, rivers and lakes excluding sea water. A distinction is not made between lake and river water.

System Model 

A model describing how activity datasets are linked to form product systems. A system model may determine factors such as whether to use allocation (and which type of allocation) or substitution to handle the multi-functionality problem, or whether to use average or marginal suppliers. It may also affect how by-product treatments are assessed.
